Accounting Co Op


  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Monthly financial statement review and analysis
  • Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures
  • Understand and review material, labor, and overhead costs as related to production.
  • Analyze all aspects of the business to assist in decision making.
  • Assure adequate controls are maintained in manufacturing
  • Other accounting or financial tasks as required by the Manufacturing Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or CFO


  • Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited local University, pursuing a degree in Finance/Accounting or Business. Junior or Senior level, with current GPA of 3. 0 or above preferred.
  • Understanding of accounting foundations and concepts, in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
  • ERP Understanding is helpful
  • Position will require minimum of 20 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
