Ensures comprehensive, efficient health care through planning, directing and providing care within a multidisciplinary health team. To direct the care of patients utilizing the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. To maintain accountability to hospital, state, and federal regulations, and professional standards regarding activities, documentation and collaboration requirements.
STATUS: Part-time (24 hours/week)
LOCATION: Clifton Springs Endocrinology - Coulter Road
DEPARTMENT: Diabetes and Endocrinology
SCHEDULE: Days, Monday-Friday

Care Management. Review and update medical records, monitor and manage medical plans of care, medications, and insure that residents are seen by the attending physician at 30 and 60 day intervals as required by state regulations and authenticate change care plans as appropriate.
Administrative Duties. Perform administrative functions to include completing insurance and when time permits, medical discharge documentation, providing guidance and teaching to ancillary personnel, communicating with and counseling family members, preparing daily billing sheets. Prepare complete chart entries on patient interactions, writing orders and recording progress notes.
Infection Control. Utilize infection control equipment and safety guidelines to minimize and/or prevent occupational exposure to communicable diseases, potentially infectious body fluids and risks of prescribed patient treatment (i.e., radiation, toxic substances).
EDUCATION MS: Nursing (Required) LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS NP - Nurse Practitioner Certification - New York State Education Department (NYSED); RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
