Summary:
In accordance with the organization's mission and values, the Facilities Manage responsible for the overall appearance, maintenance and repair associated with all FLACRA facilities and sites.
The Facilities Manager will direct, supervise and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site.
The Facilities Manager will also be responsible for supervising the Maintenance Team & Environmental Service Technicians.
Must Have
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent Five years experience working in facility maintenance Two years of supervisory or managerial experience Valid NYS Drivers' License.
Must Have Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff and multiple distributors and agencies.
Ability to multi-task, have good problem solving and time management skills and the ability to remain calm in a crisis.
Working knowledge of AOD issues.
Duties:
1.
Assist in conducting hiring, recruiting and evaluations for maintenance/environmental services personnel.
2.
Assist in management of facility budget and manage quality standards for all sites.
3.
Manages on call schedule for on call maintenance personnel.
4.
Receives and prioritizes day to day maintenance repairs requested by work orders and assures completion in an efficient and timely manner.
5.
Coordinate the landscaping of all FLACRA facilities including seasonal activities such as lawn mowing and snow removal.
6.
Oversee and coordinate timely inspections of all FLACRA facilities in accordance with Agency policies/procedures.
7.
Facilitates intra-departmental collaboration to ensure that all departments are communicating effectively and supporting one another as needed.
8.
Assist in solicitation and coordination of vendors needed to make necessary repairs at all sites.
9.
Assist in the solicitation of bids for minor maintenance in accordance with NYS OASAS regulations.
10.
Coordinate the maintenance scheduling for all vehicles including notifying the Accounts Payable Coordinator of when vehicle inspections and registrations are due.
11.
Coordinate the pickup of shredding at all sites and dealing with the transportation to the shredding facility.
12.
Coordinate delivery of supplies to all clinics.
13.
Oversee and coordinate inspections of all FLACRA facilities by regulatory agencies.
14.
Coordinate pickup and delivery of various donated items.
15.
Directly communicate suggestions, concerns and/or complaints to the supervisor in a timely manner.
