Key Responsibilities include:
Participates in the developing, maintaining and updating of the facility's written policy and procedures that govern the day to day functions of the Nursing Services Department.
Completes reports, forms, evaluations, studies, charting as necessary.
Makes written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the operation of the Nursing Services Department.
Acts for the director of nursing services, administrator or assistant administrator in their absence when so directed.
Attached to Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs Nursing Home offers a uniquely holistic approach to long-term care.
Skilled nursing care is located adjacent to Spa Springs, where patients can access massage therapy, acupuncture and similar treatments.
Clifton Springs Nursing Home is a 108-bed facility.

Long Term Care ATTRIBUTES:
Associate's degree in Nursing Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing; preferably in long term care, rehabilitation or complex care.
New York State Registered Nurse license with current registration RESPONSIBILITIES Unit Management.
Provide onsite management of the facility; oversee the delivery of patient care and any issues that arise; ensure proper documentation; facilitate professional collaboration with all staff and providers; maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff Leadership.
Mentor and coach staff in clinical and behavioral events; facilitate patient flow by assisting staff in decision making; function as an inter- and intra-departmental liaison; provide guidance to unit staff in all matters related to resource availability, flexing and floating staff Patient Care.
Round on patient and families with concerns or complaints; collaborate with staff to provide care that respects patient's personal values and beliefs, accounting for spiritual and cultural needs; support patient and families in making informed decisions EDUCATION:
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:
$100,000.
00 - $120,000.
00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
