Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation in the kitchen - Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met - Provide excellent customer service, including upselling and suggestive selling - Clear and clean tables, bussing dishes and glassware - Help with various tasks as needed in a fast-paced restaurant environment - Operate the POS system for order taking and payment processing - Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and change making - Contribute to achieving sales targets by promoting menu items and specials
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team - Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
